A genre that emerged in the late 1970s in the UK, characterized by a revival of the Mod subculture and a return to the sound of 1960s Mod bands such as The Who and The Small Faces. Mod Revival bands typically feature jangly guitar riffs, driving basslines and energetic drumming.
