Chicano Rap

Chicano rap, also known as Mexican rap, is a subgenre of hip hop that emerged in the 1990s from Chicano communities in the Southwest United States. It often features lyrics in both English and Spanish and addresses issues such as gang violence, poverty, and immigration.
