Musica Neoleonesa

Musica neoleonesa is a genre of music from the northern Mexican state of Nuevo León. It is heavily influenced by traditional Mexican music, particularly norteño and ranchera styles, as well as American country and rock and roll. The music often features accordion and bajo sexto (a type of guitar), and the lyrics often focus on themes of love, heartbreak, and the struggles of everyday life.
