Golden Age Hip Hop

Golden age hip hop is a term used to describe the period of hip hop music from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. It is characterized by its use of sampled beats, turntablism, and socially conscious lyrics. Golden age hip hop artists include Public Enemy, Run-DMC, and A Tribe Called Quest. This era is considered by many to be the golden age of hip hop music.
